It was my last wedding of the season, my last hurrah, and it was a truly wonderful celebration. It was the first time I had shot a wedding at Strathcona Park Lodge, and I was really impressed by what a fantastic location it is. Lindsay was brought by canoe into her ceremony with her dad, and away with her husband. The backdrop for the open air ceremony was the picturesque upper Campbell Lake and mountains. The caterers barbecued salmon over a fire in traditional style. Being in this idyllic setting with such a fun and fabulous couple was truly a fantastic day for me. Lindsay and Matt were laid back and in the moment, and it was heart warming to be with them and capture their affectionate, devoted relationship. We were blessed with stunning skies and some fabulous light. It was a fabulous wrap-up to a fabulous wedding season.
