Deana Marie Strandberg, waving school goodbye.
Before a photoshoot, I always ask people to answer some questions about themselves and what they want. One of the questions is to sum up the personality of the people being photographed in one word. The word that Deana chose to describe herself was ‘perseverance’, her mum shared with me some examples of how this young woman keeps going when the going gets tough. What a great character quality to approach life with. That dedication will serve her well as she embarks on a new chapter of her life – becoming her mother. Every blessing to you and Rory as you bring this precious life into the world. Incidentally I totally wish I had done purple streaks when I was a teenager – don’t they look so cool! I think I’m a bit beyond them now though
